Like Saturday, the Xfinity Series will kick off a Sunday doubleheader at Homestead-Miami Speedway for the Contender Boats 250. This will serve as the 10th race of the season.
The race will consist of the same length as Saturday’s race with stages ending on lap 40, lap 80 and the finish on lap 167.
The starting lineup will be inverted for the first through 15th finishers from Saturday, but the finishers from 16th through last place will keep those spots. Teams that will go to backup cars or drivers changes are the No. 8 car as Daniel Hemric returns after JR Motorsports team owner Dale Earnhardt Jr. scored a top-five Saturday, Carson Ware replaces J.J. Yeley in the No. 07 car, and Jairo Avila will replace Brett Moffitt in the No. 02 car. Justin Allgaier and Kody Vanderwal will head to the rear for switching to backup cars.
Myatt Snider is on the pole after finishing 15th on Saturday. Brandon Brown will join him on the front row. Saturday’s winner Harrison Burton will start 15th.
Noah Gragson, who led the most laps on Saturday, will start 13th. He had the best car on long runs in the first race and had a lead of over 10 seconds with seven laps to go before the caution came out to force overtime.
Austin Cindric and Ross Chastain each led over 20 laps, scored top-10 finishes and will start 14th and seventh respectively.
A driver to keep your eye on Sunday morning will be Anthony Alfredo. He has had a stellar start to his Xfinity career as he possesses an 8.5 average finish in four races with three top-tens. He finished fourth on Saturday and will start 12th.
You can watch Sunday race on Fox Sports 1 and the Motor Racing Network with coverage beginning at 12:00 p.m. EST.
