NASCAR has announced its third batch of updates and alterations to the 2020 schedule early Thursday afternoon. The portion of the schedule focuses on dates from June 26 until Aug. 2, and will see Fox Sports and NBC Sports overlap in their broadcasts. In this span of time, there will be seven NASCAR Cup Series races, along with the All-Star event at Charlotte Motor Speedway, six NASCAR Xfinity Series races, five NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series races and three ARCA Menards Series events.

The overlap of the networks will take place during the Fourth of July weekend at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. This will be NBC’s first broadcasts of 2020, but Fox will take back over for a weekend at Kentucky Speedway and will conclude their broadcast obligations with the All-Star Race on July 15. NBC will officially begin their broadcast portion on July 18 at Texas Motor Speedway.

Here are other notes about the schedule and a link to the revised schedule will be posted below.

  • The ARCA Menards Series race at Charlotte will race before the All-Star Open and All-Star Race on July 15 in a tripleheader day.
  • The Xfinity Series will run two races in two days at Kentucky Speedway, which moves the Cup race to a Sunday afternoon instead of a Saturday night. The second Xfinity Kentucky race eliminates New Hampshire Motor Speedway from their schedule.
  • Chicagoland Speedway will lose their previously scheduled ARCA and truck series events as they have now been moved to Kansas Speedway. Trucks will run two races at Kansas(July 24, July 25)
